"BUS RAPID TRANSIT WORKSHOP"
Directorate of Urban Land Transport is organised a National Level workshop on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) on 26th February 2010 at Bengaluru.
The main objective of this BRT workshop was to promote awareness among the various stake holders of BRT in Bengaluru and also to provide technical awareness to the concern engineers and planners involved in BRT planning in Bengaluru. Stake Holders from other cities like Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Gulbarga and Bellary are also invited for this workshop.
The workshop addressed the issues of marketing BRT among various stake holders and on the issue of integrating the other urban modes of transport with BRT system.Detailed report can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

We are happy to announce the beta version of BMLTA's Map Browser. We request you to browse through the initial version and give feedback to dultbangalore at gmail dot com. The Map Browser aims to present spatial information on:
- Jurisdictions (BMR, BMA, BBMP, etc.)
- Transport Network and Existing Infrastructure and
- Projects / Plans proposed in CTTP for Bangalore.
In the subsequent release, project status tracking feature for the projects proposed in CTTP would be included.
