Bangalore Mobility Indicators 2008

The Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) is pleased to publish online the draft version of Bangalore Mobility Indicators 2008 for public review and information. The Mobility Indicators prepared for 2008 is a set of indicators and performance measures to track and review the progress of various initiatives being undertaken in urban mobility sector. The indicators comprise a few general measures and then it is categorized under three themes: Mobility, Congestion and Accessibility.

The Bangalore Mobility Indicators 2008 forms a baseline for future assessments for the eight zones of Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). As a follow up of the Indicators, the urban mobility policy would be evolved based on this. A public seminar / workshop on the outcomes of Bangalore Mobility Indicators 2008 would be announced here shortly.
